Yesterday we had a four-hour drive to the Basque Country. Our house here is made of wood. It’s a log cabin and it’s on a farm. It’s two stories and we sleep on the top. We have chickens and roosters outside our window and in the night they woke us up. We were so tired we slept in and missed breakfast. We went to the beach today. It’s called Laida and it’s ten minutes from Gernika. We made sand castles and played in the waves. I (Simon) was bodysurfing and didn’t even mean to.
