Van Gogh's Last Landscapes (by Simon)

The other day at the Thyssen Museum there was a special exhibit of Vincent Van Gogh's last paintings which were mostly landscapes (which I love). I think that it was amazing that in about 70 days he created about 70 pieces of art. Normally artists take about a month on a good painting. There was a certain painting of roses that I took a mental picture of and I tried doing a picture like it when I got home. Whenever we hear about an exhibit that includes landscapes or still lifes I often ask my Mom and Dad if I can go to the exhibit with them. I ended up really liking the exhibit. I think I saw Vincent Van Gogh's last painting before he died. I liked the paintings because whenever I turned a corner a new painting caught my eye that I really liked.
