Andalucia: Halloween in Seville (by Simon)

I was disappointed that we would be in Spain for Halloween. I knew that it isn't a national holiday here. Some kids celebrate it, but not too many (more than last time that we were here.) I thought that we wouldn't celebrate it especially because we would be traveling on that day and staying in a hotel.

Then the students planned a party in our hotel. We found costumes like masks and stuff like that. We did trick or treating from room-to-room in the hotel - only the rooms that the students were in, of course. They dressed up too. T
hey were funny and crazy. Lauren and Nicole dressed up as bocadillos (sandwiches wrapped up in aluminum foil) which we all eat all of the time. I got A LOT of candy and so did Alex and Eva. Jennifer even made Eva a crown from real flowers (see picture.) In the end it was a great Halloween.

THANK YOU STUDENTS!!

I love the Halloween festivities. It's my favorite holiday and I always enjoy seeing people celebrating it.
Nathan wants to know what Simon and Alex called their costumes.
Rowan thinks the flower crown is the prettiest ever. Even prettier than the one she wore on Halloween. Now that's a compliment!
