For "Girls Night Out" I got to go to bars in Madrid with some of the students and my mom. The first place we went to was a shrimp place called Casa del Abuelo "Grandpa's House." Me and some of the students ate shrimp with their heads on for the first time. I think that Jessica in the picture here thought that it was gross. 
I didn't think it was gross, but I didn't like pulling its head off so Kristin did it for me. Then we went to a place famous for croquetas called La Tabernilla del Gato Amadeus "the little bar of the cat Amadeus". I didn't like them so much, but I liked the juice.We also
went to an ice cream place called Giangrossi. It looked like a fancy restaurant and a waiter came to your table to take your order. I h
ad a frambuesa (raspberry) ice cream as big as my head! The students were surprised that I could eat the whole thing.Then we went to a potato place. It had potato fries with sauce on it called "angry potatoes." Then we took the train home and got home at 11 at night. I stayed up late like a real Spainard. What I liked most about the night was just being with the students, of course. I like the students a lot.
