Hello Fellow Englards (by Michelle)

Here is Eva's latest great idea. She said, "Since we call everybody here who speaks Spanish, 'Spaniards', I think we should call us and everybody else who speaks English, 'Englards'."

So, hello fellow Englards! We now have only a month left in Spain. Of course, our feelings are mixed.
The students leave next week and we will miss them. We are sad (and surprised) that the end is coming so soon. We will also be happy to go home and relax and see friends and family again. In the meantime, let us know if there is something that you especially want to see in our blog about Spain or our experiences here.

We still plan to blog about:
  • Spanish food
  • the Spanish schedule
  • our ward and friends here
  • Simon's baptism
  • final trips (including a quick 2-day trip to Paris!)
Any suggestions or things that you would like to hear about on the blog? Make a comment here or email me at michellemail123@yahoo.com and we'll see what we can do.

Rowan wants to see more pictures of Eva doing funny things.
Nathan wants to see more swords and soccer stuff and ****ing gargoyles.
Both kids want to see pictures of you with G'ma, G'dad, Uncle Phillip, Aunt Rosemary, and Sarah.
Sean wants a more up close and personal account of the olives there. The pictures are good enought to eat, except for that one of Alex, and he practically licks the screen.
Leah likes the "then and now" pictures. Are there more?
Ian has no comment.

Sean, I wish that we could bring you a big vat of the yummiest olives. They really are a wonderful and cheap pleasure. Unfortunately you purchase them refridgerated and the canned kinds are so-so. I don't think we could pack any back to the US. For now, licking the screen will have to do. Though, I remember that Lori and Mark have an olive grove. We should convince them to try a recipe for Spanish Campo Real. I don't know if there would be a good market for them there, but our family alone would probably purchase several trees worth!
